Me and my officemates planed to have lunch outside our workplace, as our boss is going to be late and our department head is cooling his butt with his child in boracay. We decided to go to Mang Inasal, a slightly new restaurant compared to the ones that were here near the office since the building was built. The place was good (open air, cozy, well lighted, tolerable noise) the food was good and cheap. (this is really one of the main reason why we choose it) The best part of it all, they serve “rice all you can”. Yup, you can have an extra rice all you want.
Just my two cents, while I am not condemning the marketing strategy of restaurants like this, it just feels funny–the irony of having a crisis on the supply of rice. I just hope they are doing something to the leftovers on their customer’s plate.

had a very bad experience at mang inasal riverbank marikina, they served ” panis na kanin” . When we complain, the manager did not even apologize, she murmur ” hindi panis yan, di kami nagseserve ng panis” sabay talikod. Of course we all know how to identify the ” panis” from ” freshly cooked” just by the smell you will know, plus they would not even know if they are serving panis or not because their first serving of rice is wrap in banana leaves. She did not even bother to apologize, we will never eat on that resto again, chicken is good but staff are so “bastos”
